“Valuable information that can easily be applied in my job!”
“I thought I was alone! Talking to others in positions similar to mine was a special strength.”
“These classes make me feel good about myself in a position of authority in my workplace.”Presenters:
Katie Cissell, Paul Dziedzic, and Tom Sechrist
Tom Sechrist is the founder of Sechrist and Associates, a management consulting and human resource firm based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Tom is a frequent presenter across the country, specializing in topics in financial management, work measurement and marketing. Tom combines his business and customer service knowledge with his experience as a former director of employment services to engage and inform you. He makes learning fun!
Paul Dziedzic is CCER’s Coordinator of the Rehabilitation Leadership Institute. Paul is the former Special Assistant to the Governor of Washington on Substance Abuse Issues and the former Director of the Washington Department of Services for the Blind, during which time he served as President of the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Katie Cissell has been developing and teaching supervisors and managers for 20 years, both as an executive director and as a training specialist at CCER. Katie knows first hand that supervisors frequently have to do the “hard stuff”, like terminating an employment relationship after they’ve “tried everything”. She also knows that frontline supervisors can make or break the quality of the services provided. Staff retention is on their shoulders. Katie will give you some tips on how to handle difficult performance problems, and share ideas on how to build a positive workplace.Who Should Attend?
