Basic Ethical Issues and the New CRC/CCRC Code for 2010

Unlock the mysteries of basic ethical issues in vocational rehabilitation practice and gain 10 Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) ethics credits at the same time. For one day, rehabilitation professionals will explore and discuss various areas of ethics, including the CRCC code, the six basic ethical principles, dual relationships and boundaries, values and ethical dilemmas, culture, and the ethics of email and technology. This workshop is highly interactive, and features group discussions, case studies, and role plays.

The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) periodically reviews and updates its Code of Professional Ethics for Rehabilitation Counselors. The targeted effective date of the new CRC/CCRC Code is January 2010. Click here to download the new code. During this session we will highlight the major changes to the code.

Participants will receive 7 hours of CRC credits in ethics for the site based session, and an additional three credits once they complete a related homework assignment.
